The attendants were very friendly and helpful, and explained all the details very clearly to us. We had a great time in all the tourist spots we visited!

Sconsiglio!!

We enjoyed our tour and our guide. It was so ridiculously hot— 96 degrees the first week of July without an ounce of breeze or cloud. Our guide stopped us in the shade to talk and let us wander mostly in the shady parts of the colosseum. She gave us a good general overview, but I would have liked more in depth historical context for specific monuments, emperors, Roman polytheism and Christian beliefs. Overall a nice overview and a full 3 hours!

Experience excellent! Guide Christina very knowledgeable of archaeology. She could not change hot weather, but that is Rome in July!

Castel Sant'Angelo

The towering cylinder of Castel Sant'Angelo, and its statue of Archangel Michael, is an instantly recognizable silhouette on the banks of the Tiber. Initially built as a mausoleum for Emperor Hadrian and his family, its purpose has changed many times over the years, from a fortress, a residence, a prison, and now a museum.
