Amsterdam Light Festival: Open Boat Tour

Die Tour war auch zu dieser Jahreszeit im Open Boat perfekt. Da wir extra zum Light Festival nach Amsterdam gekommen sind, gab es für uns keine andere Option, als zum Fotografieren die offene Bootsvariante zu wählen. Und wir haben es nicht bereut. Es störten keine Fenster und keine Folien vor der Kamera. Der Bootsführer Peter war klasse, hat alles gut erklärt und auch einige Scherze gemacht. Fazit: die Tour hat sich für uns wirklich gelohnt.

Amazing tour! Thanks to our captain Johan (who asked to call him Joe) for being kind and friendly! We had much fun listening to his stories about Amsterdam and enjoying incredible lighting show. Luckily, it wasn't cold and rainy, and the absence of a roof in the open boat gave us an opportunity to take amazing pictures.

We mochten doorlopen naar de enige boot die we zagen liggen. Die was overdekt. Bleek later dat de open boot er toch was. Nadeel dus als je een keer niet gecontroleerd wordt. Kerstlichtjes en kunstwerken leuk om langs te varen.

The captain was a great storyteller, he spoke very interestingly about Dutch history, the city of Amsterdam and light installations

The light festival art installations were excellent. But unfortunately too much traffic in the canal. The explanation was poor. And don’t trust the gluhwein.
