Travel to Naples by high-speed train and take a guided tour of Pompeii
An incredible day, that I couldn’t recommend highly enough. We were looked after so well, from the transport to Rosa our guide who was just fantastic. Pompeii was amazing and the food and wine afterwards were so lovely too. All in all a truly wonderful day.

This was a really great trip, totally worth the price, and much better than the same route would have been with a bus. The organisation was seamless, with clear descriptions and excellent guide Serena who took us through Pompeii with so many interesting facts and great mood, despite of us being unlucky and visiting in a bad weather. We were very impressed by the quality of the fast train, and our bus driver was also very nice. The only negative aspect for me which brought down the whole experience was the winery visit - I understand that this is perhaps important for other people, and while it was perhaps not a bad idea to serve lunch at the winery rather than elsewhere (the food was quite underwhelming though, and not a lot of it), I found the time spent there really long and unnecessary, after the initial tasting it was like a cold hard selling experience, and would have appreciated to have instead an hour longer at Pompeii and then head home. (I do not drink and neither did my children, but obviously still paid a full price, noone noticed or offered a small sample to take home for other family members or offered us a coffee instead etc., I was not even given the price list which was slapped on the table in front of other fellow travellers..).
Great tour from start to finish. Our tour of Pompeii was one of the best tours I have been in. With our informative guide, Ida, who walked us through the ancient city at a wonderful pace. One of the reasons for choosing this tour was because of the wine tasting lunch. It was a later Lunch than you might be used to at 2pm, but was fantastic. The hospitality throughout made this a really special experience. Thank you to everyone we met!

The tour was great! Felicia was the best guide I’ve ever had!! She knew so much about Pompeii and made the whole tour interesting. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wishing to learn about Pompeii!
I am always wary of organised trips but this day was an absolute delight. The organisation was first class with very clear directions and instructions on how to meet your hosts and the train trip was very smooth. On arrival we were taken to our mini-coach which was air conditioned and soon we were in Pompeii. Our guide Antonio was excellent - knowledgable, friendly and funny and the 2 hour tour went very fast. Afterwards the trip to the vineyard was another delight with wonderful food and wine with good company. Afterwards the journey home also went smoothly. Highly recommended.
