Didn't get to see the Basilica. Walked all the way there only to discover it was closed. The tour guide had no idea. She wasn't the only tour guide that wasn't aware. They decided to close the Basilica. Some people were fortunate to get in we could see them on the upper level. Anyway, it may be great? I am waiting now for a refund from Tigets. Venice City Tours e-mailed Tigets to let them know of the situation.

Arrived to collect tickets and were surprised to get 3D virtual headset tour of Venice which was excellent. Short walk to the Campanile and short wait to get the lift. Views of Venice were fantastic and we were at the top of the tour at 12 noon to experience the mid-day chimes. Fabulous.
